Theatre FANABERIE festival in Wałbrzych have not been assumed with a “great idea”. It was created in 2002 on a whim – an idea to organize cyclical presentations of performances from different places in Poland, and thus, to give the local audience an opportunity to communicate with current theatre life.
It is the only drama theatre festival in Wałbrzych, and thereby the only chance to meet with the selected performances prepared by other theatres in Poland.
More than 10 years, the formula of FANABERIE festival allowed us not only to offer the most interesting performances of recent seasons, but also to look for new relationships between them, to clash aesthetics with original styles, theatre stars with independent stage, chamber performances with a big show and the mainstream with the off…
