The theatre workshops for young people have been taking place since 2002. “The Third Theatre” is led by director and pedagogue Grzegorz Stawiak. According to his words, the main aim of the workshops is nurture and education through theatre. The Third Theatre activities take place regularly twice a week. It gives 10 hours per week. The participants attend usually for 3-4 years. Exploring the ins and outs of the theatre workshop, structure of a script and imagery of theatre signs, the young people learn to analyze and understand messages from various semiotic systems. Moreover, they overcome shyness, learn public speaking and stimulate their own creativity. The participants are divided into 2 groups: adepts and advanced.
Rehearsals of “The Third Theatre” take place:
- on Mondays from 4 p.m to 7 p.m. – the group of adepts | bunker
- on Mondays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. – the group of advanced | bunker
- on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. – the group of advanced | bunker
